The study group had planned to fly out to Bhairawa from Tulsipur. But they only managed to get two tickets. A decision was made to send the group’s two female students on that flight. The rest of the students had no means of getting to Bhairawa until the zonal commissioner lent them his jeep. This is a photo of the students traveling in that jeep to Koilabas. The students got on a train at Koilabas and went to Nautunwa, from where they proceeded to Gorakhpur. From Gorakhpur they headed for the Nepal border.

Chitwan 3A Dwarika Nath Dhungel (standing fourth from the right) developed the courage to talk to girls only in 1965, during a college tour. The students were going boating for the first time, so everyone wanted to be a part of the picture. :If we were in Kathmandu, I would probably be too scared to take photos with girls”.
